The lives of two of Hollywood’s most beloved actresses will be chronicled in two new movies. Let’s take a look!
Elizabeth Taylor:
The first is called Liz & Dick and it revolves around the romance between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. It stars Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth and Grant Bowler as Richard. Lindsay beat out Megan Fox for the role.
The film is surrounded with controversy as some think that Lohan, who already posed as the actress for a magazine cover back in 2006, is not right for the part of the iconic Taylor. The production was also under investigation by the SAG-AFTRA and IATSE labor unions for overworking its actors and members of its film crew after Lohan and two crew members received medical treatment for exhaustion and dehydration.
Liz & Dick will be aired on Lifetime on November 25th
Grace Kelly:
The second film is called Grace of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly. It revolves around Grace’s life after her wedding to Prince rainier of Monaco.
The film was popular before it even began filming: the script was listed in the 2011 Hollywood Black List of the most liked unproduced screenplays of the year. Nicole beat out many actresses for the role, such as: Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon and January Jones. The film is still in production, but the paparazzi is having a field day shooting Nicole as Grace on set.
Grace of Monaco is expected to be released in 2014
